Our certifications - for your security
Security is important - in particular when doing online business. We want our customers to feel secure at Digitalpayment - and therefore we pay much attention to independent checks and certifications which confirm this security.

SSL encoded data transfer
To protect the data you enter on our payment pages, we use SSL encryption for the transfer. This is also confirmed through our VeriSign certificate.
The encryption is carried out with up to 256 bit (at least 128 bit). VeriSign confirms the trustability of our payment pages as an independent authority and carries out searches for malware on our pages daily. So you can be sure that your transactions are secure and are protected with the highest measures of security.

Security checks against miscellaneous online dangers
Our payment pages are checked and certified through McAfee Secure daily. The posivite certification is shown by the McAfee Secure trustmark with the particular scan date.
The daily security scan includes possible access to personal data, links to dangerous websites, phishing and many more. Thereby you are protected against identity theft, credit card fraud, viruses, spyware and so forth on our pages.

Meeting PCI DSS requirements
PCI DSS is the abbreviation for "Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard". This is a set of requirements for processing credit card transactions. As Digitalpayment also processes credit card payments, we have to meet these strict security requirements of PCI DSS.
To do so we have regular network security scans through the independent auditor Qualys as well as a self-assessment to ensure the fulfillment of all PCI DSS specifications.
